Do you believe in miracles?

Last Sunday i went to my usual swapmeet market to sell. The weather was kinda "yucky" as it was a lil overcast but then from time to time the sun would peek out. Normally before noontime, i already have a sale. This time around it was already 1 pm and i haven't made a sale.

A korean couple stopped by and bought something for 15 dollars. Great! At least i don't have to go home empty handed. I felt better yet still sad because the space cost $50 dollars.

I stopped for awhile and prayed. Wished that there would be someone who is "rich" and would just buy even a $100 worth of products from me just to make the rent. Looking at the items i was selling, i wished that God would make them glow and that someone would notice it.

After an hour, i noticed that the market has picked up a bit. More people are walking and looking around. But still have not made a sale. Not long enough, a couple stopped by my booth to look at my items. They were happy to see the products i was selling and asked me if i do wholesale. I said no but i was willing to sell whatever i got. And from there, it all went smoothly. Guy opened up my plastic tubs to see what else i got and bought most of them. The sale i made was more than the 100 dollars i prayed for. God provided for more. I also give credit to my favorite saint, St. Josemaria Escriva, whom i prayed to to ask for help. I always pray to him when i need something since i was a lil kid and we've become great friends. :)

I truly believe that God did this for me to once again reveal himself to me in the form of a miracle. I cannot describe the feeling of having your prayers answered. It's a feeling of being elated because you know that you are not alone in this battle. I was happy to get that 15 dollar sale already and i told God that it was his will i'd be happy to go home with only 15 dollars, just to show my submission to my Lord. But God did not want me to go home with 15 dollars sale, he gave me more. And even after that guy left, i sold more.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding" This is what God wanted to teach us. I am such a worrier. I worry about things, about life. It's because to live alone is not easy and i have always put a goal for myself that when i fall short of that goal, i get really disappointed. Yet God has always revealed himself to me in the form of answered prayers. Never has God let anything go wrong in my life. He turns every suffering into happy endings. He is just the greatest person in my life and i am favored and honored to have known Him this well and wish to grow more in his sight. My life may not be perfect but it will always have colorful meaning to it.

So, if you ask me, do i believe in miracles? My answer is, YES! I don't just believe in it but i live it! God lives in us and we just have to find HIM! God bless y'all!
